Lent 2024

In the season of Lent, we journey together with contemplation and somber reflection toward the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ. Our 2024 Lent theme is Thirsting for Justice, based on the text of the Kyrie that we will sing together, written by Mary Louise Bringle with music by Sally Ann Morris. In this season, we will reflect on the many places in our world where justice is needed, trusting in God's presence and committing to do our part to be agents of justice, love, and peace in the world.

Lenten Home Worship

Tuesdays, February 20 - March 19
6:00 p.m.
Please join us for a time of fellowship, a simple meal, and a brief worship service in members' homes. Limited to 20 people per gathering.

Lenten Weekly Walks

Join us for a 2024 Lenten Spiritual Practice: Walking! Each week in Lent we'll choose a different day, time, and location to walk. Come for the conversation and community! All ages are welcome and encouraged to come and get to know one another. There is no limit to how many can participate, but signing up lets us contact you with more details about where to meet, and to share if anything changes. We'll boldly walk in all kinds of weather--walks are on unless A2 public schools are canceled for weather

At each walk, a pastor will lead a short devotional moment, explain where the group is headed, and then we'll walk! End times are approximate, feel free to walk as long as you'd like and turn back whenever you need to.
