A COMPASSIONATE SUMMER: *Changing the world with Lovingkindness*
5 Sundays: June 13 & 27, July 11 & 25, and August 8

As we look around the world, what becomes clearer each day is our deep need for compassion – now more than ever. Children 4 years old through Middle School are invited to join Rev. Mark Mares and Beca Torres-Davenport to examine different places in our lives where we can learn about and cultivate compassion. Each session has age-appropriate offerings for each age group. The practice of lovingkindness serves as the backbone for this year’s theme. Lovingkindness is the utmost form of selfless love toward ourselves and others. The practice begins with focusing on self-compassion because once we have compassion for ourselves, we can have compassion for others.

Immersed into this year’s Compassion Camp will be a Crossover Connection to create a space for 5th graders to get acquainted with the Youth Program. There will be 3 "neighborhood" events on Wednesdays, June 16, July 14, and July 28.

Please register here for both Compassion Camp and Crossover Connection.
