The Peru Task Force will host Stan de Voogd, the PC USA Mission Area Coordinator for Central America and Mexico, on February 16. The session will begin with dinner at 6:00 in the Curtis Room, followed at 6:30 by Stan's presentation on mission opportunities in Central America and Mexico. Stan has lived in Latin America for 12 years, working as a missionary and teaching.

Join us in the Social Hall after the 9:30 a.m. service on Sunday, May 31, to help our Philippines Task Force celebrate 10 years of affiliation with Dumaguete City in the Philippines. The entire congregation is invited to enjoy cake, coffee and juice while the Task Force shares their reminiscences in photos and stories.

In April, 2008, over 30 members of First Presbyterian attended a retreat intended to focus on issues related to the mission efforts at First Pres. The group explored where we are as a church in our mission program and where we want to be in the near future.
